About Us

The use of drones, unmanned aerial vehicles, and various air platforms for military and civilian purposes is expanding day by day. Propellers are one of the most important components of these systems, which are used in many fields such as agriculture, defense, security, mapping, logistics, imaging, and academic research.

A significant portion of professional drone propellers used in Turkey are sourced from abroad. The high costs of imported products increase both the maintenance and operating expenses of users and cause foreign exchange losses for our country. At Aerofors, we set out to offer a domestic, reliable, and accessible solution to this need.

Domestic Drone Propeller Production with Engineering Polymers
Aerofors develops and manufactures composite plastic drone propellers using high-strength engineering polymers. Our goal is to provide propeller solutions that are balanced in terms of durability and cost, suitable for mission conditions, and usable in professional aircraft.

The term "composite plastic" should not be confused with ordinary plastic materials. The engineering polymers used in our products; Our propellers are selected considering criteria such as mechanical strength, flexibility, vibration control, resistance to environmental conditions, and long service life.

The following fundamental goals are prioritized in the design and production processes of our propellers:

High mechanical strength

Controlled flexibility

Low vibration

Quiet operation

Cost-effective production

Easy availability

Adaptable to different motor and mission types

Reduced maintenance and replacement costs

More Durable and Economical Propeller Solutions
Hard and brittle propellers used in professional drone systems can crack or become completely unusable upon impact. Contact with branches, stones, hard vegetation, or other foreign objects can cause irreversible damage to the propeller.

Composite plastic drone propellers, on the other hand, can offer more controlled flexibility depending on the material structure and usage conditions. This feature can contribute to reducing the impact of minor impacts on the propeller and extending the product's lifespan.

Aerofors propellers; Strength, rigidity, weight, vibration, and aerodynamic performance criteria are evaluated together during development. Our goal is not only to produce a cost-effective product but also to create a reliable, domestically produced drone propeller that can meet professional needs.

Reliability for Military and Civil Unmanned Aerial Vehicles
Propeller reliability in drones and unmanned aerial vehicles is a critical element that directly affects the entire aircraft. Optical systems, electronic equipment, cameras, sensors, and mission-specific payloads carried on military or industrial air platforms can have high costs.

A propeller failure can damage not only the aircraft but also all the equipment being carried. Therefore, the material used in propeller production, the blade geometry, the connection structure, and the production quality are of great importance.

At Aerofors, we aim to produce high-strength and stable composite plastic propellers suitable for different mission expectations. Our products can be developed in different diameters, pitches, and blade structures, taking into account the type of engine to be used, engine power, KV value, aircraft weight, and expected thrust performance.

Less Vibration and Quieter Flight
Vibrations generated by the propeller can be transmitted to the motors, fuselage, flight control systems, cameras, and sensors. This can affect both flight quality and the performance of the electronic components in the aircraft.

The controlled flexibility of composite plastic propellers, combined with proper design and balance, can help reduce vibrations. Balanced blade geometry supports flight performance by providing more stable airflow and more controlled motor response.

Optimized propeller design can also contribute to reducing aerodynamic noise during operation. This feature provides a significant advantage in missions performed near imaging, reconnaissance, research, agriculture, and residential areas.

Free Drone Propeller Support for University Teams
At Aerofors, we believe that Turkey's development in engineering and technology will be further strengthened by the work of university students. Therefore, we aim to provide free propeller support to university projects on drones, UAVs, VTOLs, model aircraft, and unmanned aerial vehicles.

Our expectation from the teams we support is: They test our products in their projects, share flight and trial footage with us, and provide technical feedback on their usage experiences.

We believe that diverse ideas, engineering approaches, and field experiences from university teams will add value to our product development process. Learning and growing together with young engineers is crucial for Turkey.
